Why meltblown fabric is important?
Disposable face masks are composed of three layers: spunbond layer, meltblown layer, and spunbond layer. The spunbond layers and the meltblown layer are both made of polypropylene (PP) material. Among them, melt-blown nonwoven fabric is the core material for disposable masks. It is a kind of ultra-fine fiber non-woven fabric, with fiber fineness 0.5-1.0um. With nice filterability, shielding, heat insulation and oil absorption, the meltblown non-woven fabric can block larger dust particles, and attract fine dust, bacteria and virus droplets by the static charge on the surface.
